No Google Drive for Linux

Really Google? Really?

A company that is making billions by selling devices and operating systems built on the Linux platform, doesn't integrate its new Google Drive service with Linux?

Really?

Hey Google, having your nose stuck-up in the air like that is blocking the light!

This is not first. Google Talk doesn't work under Linux. Picasa works with integrated Wine. And else? So do you really excepting to Google will integrate its programs with Linux. I dont think so :)

I just think it is poor form to exclude the very operating system that Google is basing much of their fortunes on.

    *sigh*

    Thanks for the comment Guven!

Very much agreed. No matter their justification it's weak of them.

thats really sad.. However Google Drive asks for Credit card details while creating an account, so no Drive for me when I already have Dropbox!

    Linux Minty

  5. Leo Saumure Says:

Oh that's interesting! So even for the free storage aspect they are asking for a credit card? I can understand if you are purchasing more storage, but why do they need a credit card for their free offerings?

  6. Ta-Wan Says:

Linux, Android and Open Source users are notorious for wanting everything for free, maybe Google have a point here. [/satire]
