I frequent a coffee shop on Leeds Lane called Red Rabbit, and along the way to get there, I will see some really nice street art. But this one is either new, or has somehow escaped my view till this point. Either way, I find it compelling.

Along my way to Red Rabbit coffee shop, I did a little detour into a pedestrian lane, and saw some nice street art, including this pretty bird.

I saw this guy on the side of a small shipping container. I'm not sure this is suppose to represent one of the Greek Gods or not, but that is the first thing that popped into my mind.

Let sleeping dogs lay

I created this on my tablet while Angus was sleeping on his blanket. It took me all of about 10 minutes to create this, but what is funny is I also posted it on Facebook, and the amount of engagement that I got on it was disproportionate to the amount of time I spent on it.

I've actually spent much more time on my stick figure illustrations to get it just right, and they will get virtually no engagement. I guess people like puppies!

This is another example of a photo (ok the other was an illustration) that received much more engagement than I thought was due. But hey...one man's treasure, right?

Kristie and I have been enjoying the Herritage Trail in Waikanae as of late. The estuary seems to have some of the water siphoned off into lagoons for the neighbourhood. Lots of unusual (for NZ) birds like geese, swans and some shags for your viewing pleasure.

It's hard to see, but there are some wading birds in the water there.

Nap time

This is kind of a funny post, not in that there is anything humerous about the photo, but when I originally posted it from my phone, autocorrect had changed my original title from Nap Time to NATO time.
...I guess you had to be there.

A time of reflection

When it comes to taking photos where something is reflected in the water, it is getting harder and harder to think up pithy post titles for them.

Angus: I don't know man...what if I only THINK poop tastes good.

Two friends enjoy the sunshine and the view.

One final post to put the finishing touch on a fantastic day!

Kristie waiting for a pre-movie meal at the Penthouse Theatre. In the end, we had to bring our food in with us, as the kitchen was super-slow!
